What is SpiderEx?
SpiderEx is an aerosol spray that has been specially developed to remove spiders from any area it is applied.

How does it work?
SpiderEx works by spraying the aerosol onto any area you want to protect from spider and insect infestation. Following application, the active ingredients in SpiderEx remain on the area. Spiders do not like these ingredients and will therefore not be found around the area.

Does it work on any other insects
Yes. SpiderEx is effective with Spiders as well as flying and crawling insects such as Ants, Cockroaches, Beetles, Centipedes, Dog Ticks, Fleas, Flies, Silverfish and Wasps.

Is it dangerous for animals?
It is recommended not to spray directly on or around animals.

Is it safe to spray around children?
SpiderEx is not harmful to humans, however, it is recommended not to spray on or around anywhere children are likely to be.

Does it leave any film or marks?
SpiderEx works by leaving an ingredient that Spiders and insects don't like when it's sprayed. However, SpiderEx does not leave a sticky or coloured film or mark. It leaves a clear formula that is hard to see or detect.

Will it leave a smudge on the glass?
SpiderEx should not smudge or leave a mark on glass, however, we recommend wiping off any excess that is sprayed onto glass.

How long will it last?

A can of Spiderex lasts approx 3 mins if sprayed consistently.

With an estimated spray of 2 seconds per camera / PIR this equates to 90 applications per tin.

The effects of the spray will last longer if it is used indoors or in calm weather conditions compared with outdoor and more severe weather conditions.

Does it smell?
SpiderEx is perfumed. This means that when you spray SpiderEx it will have a smell, however, the smell will not last very long. A similar example is the way household polish is perfumed. This smells when it is sprayed, although it does not last very long.

Is SpiderEx an approved product by the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE)?
Yes. SpiderEx has a full Professional and Domestic license granted by the HSE number 8682.
